About The Role

The Information Management team provides leadership and governance to units across DCS to ensure information is managed appropriately and responsibly using endorsed tools.

Working within the Information Management team, and reporting to the Information Governance Manager , this role will coordinate implementation of the DCS Information and Data Governance Framework. To do this, you will liaise with specialists from other information disciplines, such as privacy, information security, records management and enterprise architecture.

You will work with data teams across all parts of the business to ensure consistency with DCS direction . You will also negotiate with corporate process owners, such as ICT procurement and project management, to incorporate information and data governance requirements into the ir processes .

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Demonstrate

  • Proven ability to provide strategic d ata governance advice and guidance to a diverse client base
  • Ability to negotiate with a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to co-ordinate and facilitate deliver y of data management projects
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing data management principles

We are seeking a candidate with subject matter expertise in , and who stay s abreast of latest trends and issues in , Data Management and Data G overnance .

You will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to work within a complex environment. You will also have strong skills in working within and across teams, to foster collaboration and delivery on agreed objectives.

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $110,745.00 base plus superannuation
