Vermont Estate Retirement Village is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reliable Emergency Response Attendant to provide onsite overnight (4pm - 8am incorporating a sleepover shift) and a weekend shift (8am - 4pm) response to Village emergency calls as well as additional general duties such as cleaning and meal service.

The position will be on a casual basis, with opportunity to pick up further shifts covering sick and annual leave.

With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, you will have proven experience in dealing with the elderly, along with the ability to make critical decisions in relation to emergency call outs from residents. You will have a professional and positive approach to work and ensure that all residents’ needs are met in accordance with Lendlease standards and Resident Committee requirements.

To be successful you must have;

Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Current First Aid Certificate (essential)
Certificate III in Community Services (desirable)
Broad understanding of the legislation, regulations and requirements, and issues affecting Retirement Villages
Highly motivated and able to take initiative
