Administrative Officer - Facilities, Project & Emergency Management
- Part Time (0.6 FTE) ongoing position.
- Parkville location
- Hub of medical precinct & leading Children’s Hospital
- Provide urgent medical care to newborns through to adolescents
The Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) provides secondary and tertiary care to children and young people across the northern and western suburbs; specialist paediatric healthcare to the children of Victoria, Tasmania, southern NSW and parts of South Australia; and is the designated state-wide provider of services including paediatric trauma, rehabilitation and forensic medicine. As a quaternary centre for complex cardiac surgery and organ transplantation, the RCH cares for the sickest children from around Australia.

The Position
Reporting to the Director Facilities & Emergency Management, this role will execute the emergency management procedures & work closely with relevant departments to ensure that the procedures are effectively carried out. Together with other tenants, this role will manage the emergency management requirements for RCH which include but not limited to training, supporting, reviewing & guiding RCH in relation to emergency management & planning.
To Be Successful In The Role, You Will Have
- Proven administration experience in emergency management
- Proven administration experience in assisting in the creating of BCP’s
- Proven administration experience in co-ordinating training sessions
- Builds rapport & trust quickly
- Demonstrate ‘out of box’ thinking for different situations
- Demonstrate the ability to be innovative
- Demonstrate the ability to administer databases – in particular share point lists, document library & calendars
- Demonstrate the ability to produce Power BI reports
- Demonstrate the ability to execute complete excel formula’s
