Job Description

As our Partnership Manager - Government, you will engage prospective government and public sector clients, establish strong relationships, understand their needs, and seek to create customised solutions. This is the ideal role for someone who has worked for medium-large professional services and consulting business, who is looking to effect change in a flat hierarchy organisation where they can make a difference.

Your New Role:

As TSA’s Partnership Manager - Government, you will be the integral link between prospective government partners and the TSA Solutions Team, working collaboratively to identify and develop new partnership opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with prospective government departments to align their needs with TSA solutions. You will also be a crucial player in the definition and growth of TSA’s Engagement Strategy.


As our New Business, Partner Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying prospective government departments and trading enterprises where TSA can play a role.

  • Leveraging your existing network across State, Territory and local government and across government departments and trading enterprises to expand our client portfolio.

  • Engaging prospective government stakeholders to understand their needs/gaps and to facilitate the ideation of customised solutions to close these gaps.

  • Providing insights into sector dynamics.

  • Strategically selecting and quality proposects, supporting the development of customised solutions and submission of tender proposals for Government clients.

  • Building brand awareness and marketing the TSA Group business across the public sector.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A background in business development and building pipelines throughout the Government sector (state preferred, federal favourable)

  • Previous experience engaging state government departments and building connections with key stakeholders in state government

  • A passion for creative thinking

  • Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at various levels

  • Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural flair for engaging people

  • A solutions-focused mindset with a bias for action

  • The ability to embrace and welcome debate

  • The drive to dive deep to understand nuances to make appropriate and informed decisions
