Permanent Remuneration Value: $27.36 -$28.74 (FTE $54, 063 - $56, 790) + 9.5% employee contribution to super, 17.5% annual leave loading + not for profit salary packaging

Casual Remuneration Value: Above hourly rate + 9.5% employee contribution to super +23% casual loading

St Andrews War Memorial Hospital is currently inviting applications from Administration Clerks for Perm Part-Time & Casual positions in their Emergency Department.

About The Role

We’re currently offering multiple opportunities for Administration Clerks to join our Emergency Centre in either Permanent Part-Time or Casual positions; ideally working a minimum base roster of 20 hours per week in the permanent position.

As an Administration Clerk in our Emergency Centre you will be responsible for front office clerical functions including reception, pre-admissions, admissions, discharges and switchboard PABX.

The Successful Candidates Will Present With

Knowledge and understanding of the Medicare/Private Health Fund and third party pay structures

Previous experience with medical billing

Experience in administration and customer service, preferably within a healthcare environment

High level data entry and word processing skills, specifically within Microsoft Office applications

Excellent customer service skills and ability to demonstrate empathy with patients

Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding patient information

Ideally the availability to work a 24/7 roster
