Senior Manager, Data Governance

How will I help?

The Senior Manager, Credit Risk Data Governance will report to the Executive Manager, Credit Data Governance and work with the team to be responsible for the development and management of credit risk data governance.

Assist in the delivery of the development and operation of the credit risk data governance frameworks, oversight and controls, including:

· Lead the Data Risk Controls and Data Quality Monitoring workstream with 3 managers.

· Developing, implementing and monitoring data quality and data integrity controls, driving accountability and actions to remediate data quality in accordance with the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) framework

· Collaborate with the Credit Risk Data Policy and Domain Governance team and Executive Manager enabling the uplift of credit risk data quality and data quality accountability through business divisions.

· Responding to information requests with respect to credit risk data governance, oversight, and quality.

To succeed in this role, you need:

· 7 years + experience in information technology and data

· Knowledge of data management in the banking or financial services industry

· Ability to work in a high pace environment with ability to think critically and act strategically

· Strong data and information management practices

· An understanding of risk and finance systems and processes

· Strong focus to solve data and information problems

· Demonstrated passion to succeed and success leading transformation and driving change
