Job Summary

The Communications Officer is accountable to the Communications Strategy Manager for contributing to the development and delivery of a comprehensive range of key communications tools and activities, including supervision of the enquiries line.

To be successful in the role, you will be a motivated, highly organised individual with proven ability to coordinate and deliver communication products and activities that impact on organisational objectives. Your demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service will facilitate the communications team to deliver on its organisational objectives.

Special Conditions
This is a 12-month term position. Some out of hours work may be required. Intrastate and interstate travel may be required. The incumbent may be required to be assigned to another position at the same classification level across the Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF). The incumbent will be required to participate in the CTP Regulator’s Performance Discussion Program.

An individual recommended for appointment/employment to a role with the CTP Regulator will be subject to a criminal history/record check, in accordance with the DTF Pre-Employment Screening (criminal history/record check) Policy. Disclosure of any pending charges is also mandatory. Previous criminal conviction or pending charges will not necessarily preclude employment.

ASO4 -$72,135 - $75,616 p.a.


The successful candidate will have the ability to plan, prioritise and organise work to achieve goals and meet strict deadlines. Experience in planning, structuring, writing, designing and editing communication products is essential.
