St John of God Burwood Hospital has an opportunity for motivated professional join our team as the Quality & Clinical Governance Manager.

You will be responsible for the provision of service excellence through the development and support of our employees (caregivers) in line with best practice principals and compliance with regulations and quality processes.

This position is being offered on a permanent full time basis.

The Requirements

• Ability to work within and contribute to the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
• Relevant healthcare tertiary qualification and possession of a Postgraduate qualification in health, training or education or working towards.
• Significant prior clinical and management experience at a senior level within a complex and geographically dispersed mental health service.
• Experience in accreditation through National Standards
• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to relate to staff in a sensitive and professional manner.
• Proven leadership, team building and organisational abilities.
• Knowledge of current evidence-based nursing practices to uphold total quality patient care.
• Experience in the management of resources and coordination of department education activities.
• An understanding of, and commitment to, quality improvement.
