An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and suitably qualified Emergency Registrar to join the Emergency Department with the possibility of an ICU rotation on a Full Time Fixed Term basis for 2021.

Reporting to the Medical Workforce Unit Manager the successful applicant will be required to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team; apply theoretical knowledge and experience in determining the appropriate clinical diagnosis, investigations and treatment of patients; and supervise registrars/provisional trainees as appropriate, HMOs and interns in the Emergency Department.

For registrars registered with the college, this role will be suitable for 6 months ACEM accreditation of core ED and there is the opportunity to accredit a 6 month non-core rotation.

Location

The city has a large commercial centre which incorporates the major regional railway station.
