About the position
Senior Advisor - Project Management Office (PMO) provides coordination to guide the successful delivery of programs and projects through the provision of strategic and operational support, including operational reporting, risk and issue tracking, quality control and post project benefits tracking and reporting. The Senior Advisor will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to project managers in each program area to effectively position project outcomes and drive project capability across the organization. The Parliament of NSW received a significant investment that has set into course a record volume of project delivery in the areas of digital transformation and capital delivery which will reshape and drive benefits realization over the next four years. 

About you
You are highly collaborative with exceptional communication skills who’s focus is to maintain partnerships with a diverse range of internal teams, to identify and resolve issues for the delivery of project outcomes and provide advice to senior management. You are an expert with managing accurate and regular financial and project status reporting of Parliaments capital projects and can provide advice to the Executive and Senior Management teams. It is most preferred that you are proficient with Smartsheet for managing digital and capital programs and can deploy project management capability training across the organisation. You’re expertise with coordinating capital business cases and treasury submissions will be highly valued and your ability to generate improvements to the standards of practice, including core project management needs is preferred.
