We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer, with a broad understanding of all system engineering disciplines who will be responsible in developing and delivering engineering documentation to support the success delivery of projects.

The core of the products designed and manufactured by this company are electronics, software, lasers, telescopes and other precision mechanisms.

This is a very senior position in this organisation, reporting directly to the Lead Engineer.

The position is full time permanent. Salary on offer: $160k + super

Key deliverables for this position

- Successful delivery of system engineering documentation to support the success of project milestones

- Overseeing all system engineering disciplines and ensuring relevant standards

- Managing stakeholders and representing company at key meetings

- Engaging with defence customers and clients to ensure timely delivery of projects

- Coordinating system engineering reviews

- Managing Verficiation & Validation activities

What we are looking for

• 5 years experience in a similar position
• Experience in Defence Systems Engineering
• Solid understanding working with CASG
• Knowledge and interest in working below the line in Defence.
• Degree in Engineering and ideally Systems Engineering qualifications
