A Northern NSW hospital requires a Registrar/PHO in Emergency Medicine

Monday, 1 February 2021 2200-0800
Tuesday, 2 February 2021 2200-0800

Emergency Department: Bed Numbers: 14 Beds in Emergency Department 12 beds in Emergency Short Stay Unit (ESSU) Shift times: 0700-1700 1000-2000 1300-2300 2200-0800 Staffing levels for each shift time: 4 x 0700-1700 1 x 1000-2000 5 x 1300-2300 3 x 2200-0800 Day and evening shifts have varying combinations. At a minimum the combination could include a combination of a Registrars, CMOs, Junior Registrar, Senior Resident medical officer (SRMO) and Intern or RMO. The night shift, will have a Registrar In Charge, plus a Junior Reg or SRMO, plus a Intern or RMO with the staff specialist on call from 0000-0700. How much support is provided: There are two consultants rostered from 0700-0000, the evening consutlant is also on call from 0000-0700. 1 x 0700-1700 Consultant 1 x 1400-0000 + on call Consutlant
