Knox Private Hospital is growing! The recent expansion in our Operating Theatre, Day Procedure Centre and Emergency Department is providing opportunities for experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for exceptional patient care.

Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills? Knox Private Hospital is looking to employ Registered Nurses with emergency experience or post graduate qualifications in emergency nursing or critical care nursing, and are seeking a new challenge.

As a Registered Nurse Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Deliver evidence based nursing care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety

Knox Private Hospital is a fully accredited tertiary facility with over 250 beds, providing Emergency Services, Intensive Care and Cardiac Services, including two twenty four hour Cardiac Catheter Laboratories. The hospital has 13 theatres, which offer a broad range of specialties including Cardiac, Neurosurgery, Robotics, Plastics, Orthopaedics, Urology, Laparoscopic, Colorectal, Vascular and General Surgery. Specialised wards include two orthopaedic wards, two cardiac and dedicated medical and specialty surgical wards.

Essential Criteria

• Current Registration with AHPRA
• Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing (or working towards)
• Working with Children check
• Commitment to Quality Patient Care
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
• Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Works well independently and within a team
• Basic computer skills

If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2016 - 2020" (salaries range between $31.30 and $44.20)
