Permanent full-time (76.00 hours per fortnight) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Primary Purpose / Focus :

The Senior Coordinator – Executive and Ministerial Coordination provides a high-level advisory and support service to senior managers and employees on executive government matters, including interaction with the Cabinet Office, Department of Premier and Cabinet and Ministerial Offices. The Senior Coordinator – Executive and Ministerial Coordination provides leadership and direction to the Executive and Ministerial Coordination team within OTS and ensures the delivery of high quality documentation to the Agency Executive and portfolio Ministers.

Selection criteria includes:

  • Demonstrated ability to understand the political, social and organisational environment in the context of the human and community services sectors, supported by a sound understanding of corporate governance principles, Executive Government and government accountability frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and create a positive culture in a complex professional work environment.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills, negotiation and facilitation skills, and the ability to resolve conflict and secure the cooperation of stakeholders on difficult issues.
