In this full-time role, you'll enjoy a pathology career with fulfilling extra dimensions, preparing and analysing all types of biological specimens and producing diagnostic reports that assist in the accurate diagnoses of diseases and adverse conditions. Proficient in core pathology disciplines, from haematology and transfusion medicine, to biochemistry and microbiology, you'll perform and manage a range of investigations on patients under ADF medical care, where the clinicians you advise will be fellow Air Force Officers in specialist health roles. With your strong leadership and investigative skills, you'll work autonomously and within a small team in laboratories in Australia and on deployment.

We'll pay you a generous salary while you study, starting at $33,000 plus super, which increases each year. On graduation, you'll complete a year in a multidisciplinary pathology laboratory. On completion of training, you'll receive a competitive salary starting at $79,381pa plus generous super.
