Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines Pty Ltd (KCGM) is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Services & Security Coordinator to join the Health, Safety, Environment and Community Department at the Fimiston operation.

This residential opportunity is on an 8/6 dayshift roster.

The Emergency Services & Security Coordinator is responsible for the management and co-ordination of the Emergency Services and Security functions at KCGM

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior emergency and Security role.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing and able to work under a RTO or similar arrangement.
  • Proven development, implementation and delivery of emergency management systems.
  • Industry qualifications in Emergency and Security or equivalent disciplines.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in security management for a large operation.
  • Experience in a gold or mineral processing environments.
  • Report writing and data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions by thinking out side of the box delivering alternative outcomes.
  • Leadership of team members to coach, mentor and influence others.
  • Excellent skills in organisation, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation with excellent presentation skills.
  • Must reside within the Goldfields region for this residential role.
  • Current unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence

Preferred

  • Experience in the implementation of a training and learning management system (INX - InTuition)
