We are now seeking a Strategic Account Manager to join our fast-growing procurement software organisation.

About the role

The Strategic Account Manager - State & Local Government is accountable for our State Government clients, Local Government Association partners and Council clients. Ensuring customer retention, revenue retention and uplift, increased utilisation of the platform, and upsell of products and services, this job offers an opportunity to join a fast growing team who are results driven, fast paced, venture backed and looking for like minded people that want to make a difference.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Own key State Government relationships
  • Own key Local Government Association relationships
  • Lead, coach and support customer success managers within your team
  • Drive uplift and expansion in our existing client portfolios
  • Drive client adoption of all functionality available within the VendorPanel suite
  • Work with marketing to support client engagement and upsell
  • Hit targets and drive revenue growth
  • Manage account escalations
  • Travel as required
You will be supported locally by a thorough on-boarding process where you will learn from our sales, customer success, marketing and activation teams. We’ll make sure you have the knowledge and tools to set you up for success.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following experience and personal attributes:
  • 5+ years of Enterprise Account Management experience
  • 5+ years of State Government and or Local Government experience
  • Experience working Government and an understanding of how to navigate complex organisations
  • A technology adopter and enthusiast, who can effortlessly use our CRM, video meeting platform and other tools to manage your day and log activity
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • A consistently high work ethic and a can-do attitude
  • An energetic and confident team player who cares about the outcomes for their customers and the organisation
