Reporting to the Strategy, Governance and Oversight Officer, this person will be responsible for overseeing the financial crime key risk indicators and related reporting across the Group as well as the wider Strategy, Governance and Oversight function on projects and enhancements. You will have a dedicated focus on AUSTRAC Regulatory Operations, managing the AUSTRAC Online system, updates and access ensuring that the information recorded is timely, accurate and complete.
You will manage the Group-wide financial crime Key Risk Indicator Dashboard and communicate the KRI Dashboard to all relevant stakeholders, senior management, and the Board. Part of your role will see you providing support on definition and reporting on Risk Appetite Statement financial crime metrics and other related reporting metrics and indicators at Group level. You will manage the oversight over Group-wide financial crime reporting and certificates.

What do I need?
A strong candidate will bring experience across financial crime, operational risk, assurance, or other related experience. This experience will have derived from roles within either Banking, Financial Services, Consultancy, Legal or Government. You have a strong knowledge of AUSTRAC reporting requirements and bring proven experience in stakeholder management and engagement and be highly proficient with both your verbal and written communication. You are outcomes focussed and resilient when faced with challenges and will bring a broad understanding of banking products and processes, systems and policies.
