Menzie Malvern Retirement Village is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and reliable Emergency Response Attendant. The ERA will be a PPT role for every second Saturday evening and every second Friday evening along with some other shifts on public holidays. It will also incorporate various Sunday afternoons from 1-5pm and where they are not working on a Saturday evening shift or Friday evening shift there will be some Saturday, day shifts.

With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, the successful candidate will have proven experience in dealing with the elderly and frail along with the ability to make critical decisions in relation to emergency call outs from residence with a professional and positive approach to work to ensure that all residents’ needs are met in accordance with Lendlease standards and Resident Committee requirements. This role will be suitable for a training Nurse/Paramedic or similar.

To be successful you will most likely have;

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Current First Aid Certificate (essential)
  • Certificate III in Community Services (desirable)
  • Broad understanding of the legislation, regulations and requirements, and issues affecting Retirement Villages
  • Highly motivated and able to take initiative
  • Mature attitude to responsibility and problem solving
