Senior Manager – Governance – Business Banking

  • Manage all current and future Product Governance matters
  • Work with a wide range stakeholders across the Business Banking

HOW WILL I HELP?

You will play a pivotal role in providing Product Governance advice and work with Product Managers across Everyday Business Banking to ensure governance deliverables are created (for example Target Market Determinations), maintained, understood and managed appropriately, this will entail:

  • Co-ordination and hands on support of cross-product Governance activity to ensure consistency across individual Everyday Business Banking product lines.
  • Act as the key SME for Product Governance activities within the EDB Village, including provision of 1st line support, training etc to Product managers.
  • Working with stakeholders across the entire Business Bank (such as Legal, Compliance, Group Risk, Financial Crime etc).
  • Support rectification activities for key issues and incidents in partnership with accountable product managers from time to time

WHAT DO I NEED?

In order to be successful in the role you will have experience of the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, accounting, commerce, legal or related discipline
  • 5+ years’ experience in Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, Product Control or Governance, preferably in Banking or Financial Services
  • Extensive skills in effective problem solving and decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Influencing and relationship building skills
