As part of the Wesfarmers Industrial and Safety Division and Greencap, TrimEVAC provides a comprehensive range of Emergency Management Services including training, consultancy and auditing across a diverse range of clients in both government and private sectors. Supported by a team of over 300 professional employees based in 8 offices across Australia, we are now seeking to appoint a highly motivated Emergency Management Consultant (Trainer).

The Role:

A fantastic opportunity presents for a self-motivated and experienced Emergency Management Consultant (Trainer) to deliver, assess Emergency Management Services including gap analysis, audits, evacuation diagram markups and Warden training at Retail, Commercial and Industrial sites across Australian and New Zealand. You will ensure that contractual and compliance requirements for the delivery of programs are met in accordance with the TrimEVAC training Framework. You will report to the National Training & Compliance Manager and be supported by a team of high performing industry experts. This is an opportunity which provides a blend of fieldwork, reporting and project management with a variety of exciting projects and the chance to specialise as desired. Your key areas of responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to:

  • Deliver structured, flexible, relevant and interesting training sessions and assist all learners regardless of the level to achieve their training goals.
  • Ensure all training resources are current and are compliant with TrimEVAC Training standards and procedures
  • Conducting pre and post-course schedules and ensuring course administrative procedures are completed in accordance with business procedures.
  • Work with internal Account Managers to proactively provide training solutions in a timely manner.
  • Prepare for, conduct and document both training delivery and assessment procedures, using approved training delivery plans.
  • Complete and maintain all training records accurately, document assessment results and submit to the appropriate manager upon assessment for input into the ERP solution software (NAV).
  • In conjunction with the assigned Account Manager, resolve any complaints or incidents in accordance with grievance procedures, documenting incidents and outcomes.
  • Participate in moderation/validation sessions as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • Qualifications in the following: Cert IV Training and Assessment TAE40110,
  • Previous or current industry experience in Emergency Services background is advantageous
  • Your ability to prioritise and multi-task is essential in order to allow a balance in travel, onsite training and the time required to complete office administrative duties.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage projects.
  • Demonstrable customer focus showing a proactive approach to new opportunities and continual improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in organisational effectiveness and operations management implementing best practices.

This role requires flexibility occasionally working in country locations and limited weekend work, a full driver's licence with own reliable vehicle is also essential.
