Our client, a large government department, requires a Senior Fraud & Corruption Investigator to join until July 2021. This role will be based in Haymarket and pay up to $590 per day + Superannuation.

The Senior Fraud & Corruption Investigator conducts complex and high-level Fraud & Corruption Investigations on behalf of the department.

The role has direct responsibility for the investigation of serious allegations of Fraud & Corruption, and/or sensitive Fraud & Corruption Investigations that are referred by the relevant Minister, Chief Executive, the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) or other authorities.

Key Accountabilities:

• Liaise with the ICAC, NSW Police and other law enforcement agencies to facilitate a joint approach to Fraud & Corruption Investigations
• Document and record the methodology of all investigations including interviews and actions and prepare detailed reports based on findings for submission to the Disciplinary Review Panel and/or Executive
• Provide specialist advice to the Executive and senior managers on issues arising from Fraud & Corruption Investigations

Thesuccessful candidate will have experience within workplace investigations, fraud and corruption.

As part of the onboarding process you will be required to undergo a National Police Clearance.
