Our client is seeking talented software engineers to join their experienced team. The successful candidate will work on large defence projects. These opportunities will be offered as long-term contracts and will be based in Adelaide, SA.

Due to the nature of our client's industry and projects, all candidates need to have a defence / federal clearance.

Experience required:

• Tertiary qualifications in software engineering, computer science or related technical discipline
• Experience with programming languages like Java, C++ and/or Ada
• Experience in integration of software components in real time software systems
• Experience with the products, development environment and the tools used to develop and support software
• Knowledge of contemporary software developments standards
• Experience in Linux system administration

As a software engineer you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance of the software integration environments
• Installations of system software in test sites, customer sites, etc.
• Preparation of test documentation, conduct of integration testing, etc.
• Develop good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Perform other duties as assigned
