The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent researcher to join the Emerging Technologies Research Lab as a Research Fellow. The Emerging Technologies Lab, which crosses the Faculty of Information Technology Faculty and the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture at Monash University undertakes world leading research into social, cultural and experiential dimensions of digital and emerging technologies.
The successful candidate will work with Professor Sarah Pink and Dr Debora Lanzeni to undertake literature-based, ethnographic and workshop research focusing on digital, emerging and automated technologies related to working from home and to the Future of Work in organisations.
You will have opportunities to lead and co-author research publications, and deliver presentations, including digital ethnography and design ethnography workshops.
There may be possibilities to extend the duration of the appointment if new funding becomes available.
This role is a part-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
