Randstad is currently recruiting for skilled Administration Officers to work within a busy local government council. This opportunity will give you the exposure of working within Local Government and further develop your already existing skills.

About the role

We are seeking dynamic and passionate administrators who have excellent written and verbal communication skills, thrive working in a team environment and are willing to learn something new. You will be responsible for:

  • Provide administration support to the office
  • General phone and reception support
  • Data Entry responsibilities
  • Management of email and appointment
  • Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Ad hoc duties

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a similar Customer Service, Administration role or Government Department is well regarded
  • High attention to detail
  • Work effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills
  • Drive and resilience; able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Proof of current Police Clearance is required or willingness to obtain
