Want to help people experiencing financial crisis, and / or who are low income and vulnerable, with their energy costs? The Energy Social Programs include:

  • Wok on a scheme to help those having difficulty paying household energy bills because of a short-term financial crisis or emergency, such as unexpected medical bills, or reduced income due to COVID-19.
  • The scheme to help low income and vulnerable households with their energy costs, to provide ongoing cost of living support.

Primary purpose of the role
Deliver high quality customer service and administration:

  • To assess customers for eligibility for Energy Assistance vouchers and work with energy retailers to assist customers, as the first point of contact for internal and external customers through effective and timely communication, issuing of vouchers and reports.
  • To assess energy rebate customer applications and provide contact centre services for the energy rebates, including email and phone support.

Essential requirements

  • In accordance with the requirements of this role, you will be required to work Monday through to Friday from 9am to 5pm on site.
  • High quality customer service experience.
  • Contact centre experience (preferred).
