As our Account Manager, Government and Education, you will have the opportunity to:-

  • Drive HP’s strategic education and government territory with end to end ownership of the route to market and territory growth plan for the South Australia
  • Develop and maintain trust and rapport with C-level executives and their respective teams to advocate and support HP within the organization and their stakeholders
  • Develop strong working relationships with our Channel partners (resellers) delivering exceptional customer experience
  • Strategically and aggressively grow the existing business quarter on quarter through strong customer engagement and influencing initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors in each account to strategically position HP’s products and services better
  • Use specialty expertise to seek out new prospects and ways to expand existing opportunities
  • Provide leadership and direction to your inside account manager, ensuring optimal teaming and sales results

Are you a high flier? We are looking for an individual with:-

  • University or Bachelor’s degree /Directly related previous work experience.
  • Demonstrated achievement against quota
  • Extensive selling experience to the education and government sector within the IT industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of the Government and Education segment, with a track record of integrating this knowledge into consultative selling
  • Ability to apply program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, cost, resource, track and ensure successful pursuit
  • Account planning and accurate account revenue forecasting skills
  • Experience of collaborating with management and sales teams in shared accounts to ensure seamless integration of specialist sales with other sales activities.
  • Experience of cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with customers to ensure account retention & growth
  • Passion for Technology with demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and associated solutions
