Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage an APS6 Governance and Secretariat Officer on a contract for 3 months with potential extension of 3 Months.

Position Overview

The Governance & Secretariat (G&S) team provides strategic advisory and secretariat services across a range of internal and external governance committees. This includes implementing governance frameworks and approaches to support the client to achieve its mission and objectives, as well as support its strategic engagements with key stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • contributing to the development of policies and procedures to strengthen governance
  • delivering a secretariat function for various internal / external fora, including:
  • Secretaries' Digital Committee
  • Digital Leadership Committee
  • Chief Information Officers' Forum
  • Executive Board
  • supporting coordination activities as required to support the client's contribution to portfolio-wide and strategic consultation
  • contributing to the overall work of the broader team by working flexibly

Mandatory Requirements:
  • The successful candidate will be required to have a Baseline security clearance.
