Employment Period
up until 31 March 2022
Primary Purpose
- Promote an emergency risk management culture within ZEMCs
- Lead and coordinate a full cycle of emergency risk management using the National Emergency Risk Assessment Guidelines (NERAG)
- Facilitate effective communication and consultation processes with key stakeholders and build and maintain relationships to ensure collaboration and commitment to mitigation outcomes
- Provide leadership, advice and support to ZEMCs
- Assess and address knowledge gaps particularly consequence management of emerging and structural risks of ZEMC members
- Provide reports on progress to the Manager Emergency Management & Hazard Planning and to the Executive of the ZEMC.
Engagement will be subject to a satisfactory Emergency Services Sector Criminal History Check. For all special conditions, please refer to the Role Description.
