Passionate Inclusion & Diversity Officer with extensive project coordination experience to join NSW State Government

· $53 per hour + Super | 35hours per week

· NSW State Government | Parramatta Location

· ASAP Start | Estimated 6-month temporary assignment, potential to extend

Our large NSW State Government client functions to reduce violence, crime and fear throughout the NSW Community.

About the Role

They are currently seeking a passionate Inclusion & Diversity Officer with project coordination experience to join their team in Parramatta. This is an estimated 6-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Reporting to the Manager Inclusion & Diversity, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of project, communications and events coordination activities to support the implementation of the new Inclusion and Diversity strategy across the Department

In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties –

· Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships facilitating collaboration, consultation, engagement and contribution of ideas

· Promote positive environment supporting corporate culture, values and behaviours

· Facilitate end to end project coordination

· Scheduling and coordinating meetings and events

· Preparation meeting rooms and venues, including equipment and overall presentation

· Generate communications collateral to raise awareness around Inclusion and Diversity initiatives fostering a harmonious working environment

· Undertake research, gathering and collating information, making recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives 

· Analysis and evaluation of data, identifying trends and issues, whilst mitigating risks

· Generating reports and correspondence

· Utilise recruitment information to monitor and manage gender, diversity and leadership talent pipeline

· Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality

· Support the team in developing capabilities for broader workforce

· Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practice

About you

To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following – 

· Tertiary Qualifications within Human Resources or an equivalent field

· Demonstrated Inclusion & Diversity experience

· Previous project, communications and event coordination experience essential

· Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written

· Passionate, enthusiastic team player

· Problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills

· Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines

· Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite

· Valid Baseline security clearances & willingness to undergo pre-employment checks

· Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
