Period of employment / Hours:

Fixed term casual work (as and when required) commencing ASAP for a period of 12 months - multiple vacancies

  • Please note: Other fixed term full-time and part-time vacancies that may arise in the near future may also be filled from this selection process.


Public Health Services - South


  • Support the approach to public health emergencies under the guidance and leadership of the Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNC) within CDPU.
  • Participate in communicable disease team prevention and control activities such as contract tracing and management under the direction of the CNCs within CDPU.
  • Practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) codes and guidelines for registered nurses.
  • Understand and adhere to relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and objective documentation.

Essential Requirements:

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

  • 1. Conviction checks in the following areas:
    • a) crimes of violence
    • b) sex related offences
    • c) serious drug offences
