The Marine and Coastal Council provides independent advice on marine and coastal issues. Community engagement is key to the stewardship of Victoria's coastal and marine environments, and priority is given to genuine partnering, and meaningfully engagement with Victoria's Traditional Owners and Aboriginal communities.
The Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change welcomes expressions of interest for up to nine positions for the Marine and Coastal Council. The terms of appointment are due to commence on 1 August 2021 and all positions are paid under agreed Government guidelines.
If you have experience in one or more of the following you should consider contributing to the Marine and Coastal Council: community engagement; marine conservation, marine ecology, marketing or social media; public entity governance; and sustainable fisheries.
