JOB DESCRIPTION

Exciting opportunities are currently available for experienced Registered Nurses to join the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 200,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity: To provide clinical and patient-centred care within the Department of Emergency Medicine. Support the facilitation and provision of quality and cost effective nursing services which are consistent with contemporary standards and evidence-informed practice. Actively participate in and support education, management and portfolio functions within the Department of Emergency Medicine. Utilise data and information to ensure that the service is organised for safety and participate in the capture of information which measures the standard of service delivery.

Several permanent full time (76 hours p.f.) and part time positions available, hours negotiable

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive salary between $72,471 - $92,954 p.a. (full time) or salary rates between $36.55 - $46.88 p.h.
