The AR&C Governance Coordinator is responsible for the uplift and effective maintenance of governance administration, practices and tools across the AR&C Division; including the divisional operational governance and BEAR compliance, practices and administration so that division leadership is audit ready and APRA compliant.
Reporting Lead Purpose
Reporting to the Governance Agility Lead and in direct support to the AR&C Division Coordinator & Group Functions - Head of Accountability Regime, you will uplift and manage the AR&C governance framework as part of the ongoing uplift and running of Division Operation Model. You will work closely with other AR&C Portfolio Governance Managers and Strategic Delivery Reg & Compliance team to bring considerations and compliance for the division.
This will encompass the creation or uplift of key artefacts (such as Accountability Statements, or Forum Charters) where required; the uplifting in tools and capabilities to support and document effective decision making; the appropriate and timely management of, forums and committees, or any associated issues relevant to the division or the BEAR committee, including managing escalation where appropriate. You will be the point of contact for parties outside and across the Division for regulatory inquiries or investigations, ensuring that the appropriate teams/businesses are engaged and that responses are provided in a timely and coordinated manner.

What's in your toolkit?
  • Significant capability in broad senior stakeholder engagement
  • Understanding of the AR&C Division and the relevant regulatory factors that apply
  • Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment that the AR&C is operating in
  • Experience in improving governance capability uplift across teams
  • Experience in drafting regulatory response documents and formal papers
  • Experience in running decision making forums with executive stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication skills, analytical, problem solving and creative ideation skills
  • Strong knowledge of ANZ governance framework and Banking Executive Accountability Regime
  • Experience in administering as a governance secretariat
  • facilitation skills of events - organizing forums, facilitating record of minutes and decision making
  • The ability to administer content management systems and distributed business communication tools
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and creative ideation skills
