How will I help?

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Controls & Monitoring, this Line 1 Risk role will directly support the Chief Digital and Marketing Office (CDMO) in relation to the management, governance and oversight of Digital and Marketing related risks.

You will contribute to risk committees, provide specialist advice on risk and compliance obligations and take part in monitoring activities and deep dives. You will also create data-led reporting, providing meaningful insights on current and emerging risks to support the leadership team with business decisions and process improvements.

In addition, this role will play a key part in investigating and introducing new digital risk management capabilities to contribute to the uplift of risk maturity and overall capability of the team and division.

What is in it for me?

You will play an important and significant part in the future of a business that has been around for 200 years. Our vision is to become one of the world’s great service companies. So, we will back you in the development of your career, with internal career prospects and flexible working. You will also be backed by a fantastic team of people in a can-do, supportive structure.

What do I need?

A strong candidate will bring relevant experience in operational risk, compliance, assurance or legal, ideally gained in a dynamic financial institution. Those looking to make the first move out of a ‘Big 4’ professional services firm (audit/assurance or risk advisory) at a Manager, Assistant Manager or Senior Analyst level, will also be considered. A keen interest in digital is highly regarded.

You will also have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills and be able to develop and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the team, division and wider group.
