Position Profile: We are seeking to appoint suitably experienced candidates to the position of HIAS Officer – Emergency Department (Day Shift) and HIAS Officer Emergency Department – After Hours. The successful applicants will be responsible for providing a consistent and high standard of reception and clerical support service to various department areas, dealing with patient enquiries over the counter and by telephone and maintaining accurate and up-to-date computerised patient information systems.

As this recruitment pool is for both Day and After-hours positions, applicants are encouraged to state their preferred hours on their application.

The Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) treats children from around Western Australia, and is committed to programs that promote lifelong health in children and adolescents. CAHS is made up of Neonatology, Community Health, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services and Perth Children’s Hospital.

CAHS employs over 4000 people and provides services throughout the community within metropolitan Perth; operating the State’s only dedicated Tertiary Paediatric Hospital (Perth Children’s Hospital); providing specialised state wide services; as well as providing support to other hospitals and health services across Western Australia.
