JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Purpose

The Deputy Director, Digital Government Services is responsible for the identification, delivery and oversight of digital government services and initiatives. The role is responsible for managing the effective operation and continuous improvement of critical whole of government digital platforms and services, including www.sa.gov.au, forms, and website design system.

Special Conditions

  • The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this remuneration level or equivalent.
  • The Incumbent will be required to participate in the department's Performance Management Program.
  • Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
  • Some interstate travel involving overnight absences will be required.
  • Applicants will be required to undergo the appropriate and relevant Employment Screening Assessment(s) required for this role in line with the DPC Employment Screening Policy.
  • This role requires General Employment Probity Check
  • In a position of trust, the incumbent will work within a confidential, commercially oriented and politically sensitive environment and deal with commercially and politically sensitive information.
  • As a senior leader in the ICT and Digital Government Division, it is expected that the incumbent will appropriately role model and uphold the Public Sector Values, IDG’s Activity Based Working approach, IDG’s principles of customer-centricity, growth mindset, results-oriented, engaged, agile and inclusive, and participate in a regular performance management process for the achievement of outcomes.
  • IDG fulfils the role of Control Agency for Cyber Crisis on behalf of DPC, as specified in the State Emergency Management Plan. IDG personnel and this role will participate in Control Agency responsibilities as required subject to appropriate training and induction.
