Duties
To provide specialist business support of the ESCAD, Triple 000 call-taking and other systems used in FireComm on behalf of Tasmania Fire Service. This support is provided by configuring and testing the systems and other FireComm Systems as required from a business perspective and providing support to the managers and users within the relevant services Communication & Dispatch Unit.
This is a key role within FireComm. Support includes the provision of subject matter expertise which requires a sound knowledge of the ESCAD System, Triple 000 and other systems used in FireComm and the role is to ensure that service provision complies with national standards and operational policies and performance targets.
Desirable Requirements
- Demonstrated understanding or experience of relevant emergency services business processes and policies relating to call taking and dispatching of resources.
- Experience in configuring and testing complex emergency service computer aided dispatch systems and interfaces, such as Vision CAD solutions or a comparable computer aided dispatch environment.
