ReturnToWorkSA manages the Return to Work scheme which provides insurance that protects South Australian businesses and their workers from the costs of a work injury.

The Regulation Group at RTWSA is responsible for regulating the Return to Work Scheme, including education, licensing and enforcement activities with all SA businesses (including self-insured businesses), Scheme providers and claimants. Our aim is to deliver a regulation function that is effective, trusted, transparent and accountable.
The Government Relations and Complaints Team manages complaints as the Scheme regulator, and also manages RTWSA’s relationship with the Treasurer as our responsible Minister, his Office, Parliament, and other key State and Commonwealth Government stakeholders, as well as other workers compensation jurisdictions.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Effectively lead and support a small team to deliver effective, high quality Complaints and Government Relations services
- Manage workloads and resources effectively to ensure all deadlines are met
- Use your excellent verbal and written communication skills to prepare and edit a range of high quality communications, including Ministerial briefings, Cabinet and Parliamentary documents, and complaint responses
- Use your strong knowledge of state Government and Parliamentary processes to support the delivery of strategic outcomes and advise senior executives
- Effectively use data to inform briefings and papers, and manage data sharing arrangements with other organisations
- Work collaboratively with all RTWSA teams, including educating and advising about Government and Parliamentary processes and requirements
