About the Role

They are currently seeking highly experienced HR Business Partner / People Partner professionals to join their team in Chippendale. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a strong potential to extend.

Working within the People and Culture Division, you will be responsible for driving Human Resource initiatives including support throughout a reform to deliver organisational objectives. You will be highly experienced with the drive to hit the ground running, demonstrating strong Partnering and Consultation across all levels within the business with no hesitation to support in the administrative processes. You will be responsible for specific business units comprising of roughly 150-200 employees with the Support of your Manager and People officer.

In this exciting role, you will be undertaking the following duties –

  • Deliver expertise and guidance on a variety of HR related matters to support people matters
  • Drive organisational capability and leadership capability through consultation and partnerships
  • Partner with Organisational Effectiveness colleagues to develop and implement strategies focusing on people capability growth
  • Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, facilitating collaboration, consultation, negotiation, partnerships and contribution of ideas
  • Support and manage the impact of the transformational change to ensure organisation achieves its current and future business objectives
  • Identify and evaluate people issues and trends emerging, whilst implementing risk mitigation strategies
  • Generate reports to support informed decision-making outcomes
  • Implement strategies addressing key issues such as succession planning, workforce development, employee retention and organisation design
  • Work collaboratively with the Industrial Relations Division receiving advice for related matters
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and best practice

About You

To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following – 

  • Tertiary Qualifications within Human Resources or relevant industry experience
  • Previous People Partner or HR Business Partner experience
  • Demonstrated experience working within a complex/sensitive environment / reform
  • Public Sector experience essential
  • Strong Partnering and Stakeholder Relationship skills
  • Impeccable communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite
  • Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
  • Flexibility to work across multiple sites within the organisation in Sydney Metropolitan region
  • Valid Drivers licence & reliable transport
  • Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
