The Hospital

The Hospital is the major referral centre for North West Queensland. The hospital has approximately 80 beds catering for an area of 300,000 remote and rural kilometres with a population of approximately 34,000 people.

The Role

To provide support to the Director of Emergency Services in the management of the Emergency Department and the supervision and education of Resident Medical Officers working within the department.

To apply you will need to have completed one of the following:

• The FRACGP, FACRRM, or FACEM
• At least 12 months prior experience working as an SMO
• At least 6 years experience working in ED
