Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist to join our team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

We are looking for a Staff Specialist in Emergency Medicine! The primary purpose of the role is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Emergency Medicine, and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Emergency Department and Hospital as required.

The Staff Specialist will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development. 

In addition, the Staff Specialist will act as the clinical lead in the integration of virtual health into the RPA Emergency Department services.

The successful applicant will be registered, or eligible for registration, with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and have Fellowship of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (FACEM), or equivalent.

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the NSW Staff Specialist (State) Award.
