The Role
As Science Adviser Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD), you will assist the Project Leader IAMD to build and maintain a sound understanding of the client S&T priorities and requirements associated with the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Program. This includes:

Developing a high-level program view of the Integrated Air and Missile Defence Program.
Developing and shaping a multi-disciplinary research program via an Innovation, Science and Technology Plan (ISTP) that will deliver quality and timely outcomes to suit the needs of the IAMD Program.
Developing guidance and direction to the Major Science & Technology Capabilities (MSTCs) supporting the IAMD program to ensure that the relevant DST Group tasks are integrated and that their outputs are aligned with the client’s program requirements.
Developing guidance and direction to external collaborators such as publically funded research agencies, universities and industry to identify, foster and deliver S&T capabilities for the IAMD program.

About our Team
The Integrated Combat Capability Assessment MSTC delivers warfighting superiority for the ADF though assessment and development of combat capability concepts and systems. The MSTC uses innovative approaches to the application of modelling, simulation, analysis and experimentation to enhance the combat capability of the integrated joint force. You will join a team that characterises missile systems via modelling and simulation, and flight trials experimentation; and performs analysis of integrated warfighting capabilities using complex simulation and analysis.
