How will I help?

This is a new opportunity in a Line 1 role in centre of excellence (COE) Risk Reporting Governance team which builds capability to support enhancement and remediation of credit risk reporting process, validation and controls.

You will be risk assessing credit risk reporting suite to ensure compliance with Statutory, Regulatory, Prudential, Board and senior management reporting. You will be ensuring credit risk reporting is aligned to and supports Group and Divisional key risks and risk appetite statements

Accountable for:

  • Establishing & maintaining a framework that sets out key principles & standards to be met by Risk Reporting & Analytics
  • Strengthening the control framework and enhance risk reporting governance
  • Actively translating & providing guidance regarding compliance with policies for the returns that Risk Reporting & Analytics own.
  • Embedding risk reporting practices consistent with the guidance from Basel Committee, regulators and senior management (prudential, statutory and Board).
  • Reviewing reporting suite to ensure compliance tor Statutory, Regulatory, Prudential, Board and Senior management reporting
  • Control review assessment and verification of APRA, Investor Disclosure Packs and financial statement disclosures developing business requirements for report remediation,
  • Recommending continuous improvement opportunities
  • Providing subject matter expertise for the design and build dashboards/reports/papers
  • Collaboration with various Risk and Finance teams

What do I need?

Along with Tertiary qualifications Commerce, Finance, Economics or relevant degree , we are looking for:

  • 6 to 9 years work experience
  • Audit/ Compliance experience (Credit/ Finance)
  • Knowledge of Credit analysis and reporting
  • Experience working with large data sets
