How will I help?
As the Senior Manager, Business Controls and Monitoring (Product and third party), you will support the WIB Business Controls, Monitoring and Remediation team in driving and maintaining governance processes for Westpac’s product and third-party suppliers.

You will be responsible for the management and enhancement of sustainable governance processes in relation to the consistency of Westpac products and service life cycle policy (PSL) and across third party supplier governance framework (TPSG) to ensure the Westpac code of conduct is carried out. You will drive the enhancement of the PSL and TPSG frameworks to ensure WIB businesses are able to meet key deliverables and obligations.

Your role will include but is not limited to:

Govern the PSL and TPSG framework and provide WIB with advice to enhance and improve framework and processes.
Work with other divisions to ensure consistency is met while escalating issues to WIB Senior Management, along with developing and provide PSL and TPSG reports to key stakeholders.
Contribute to the assessment of risks potential and also contribute to the design and implementation of controls to remedy any issues or meet frameworks.

What do I need?
In order to be successful in the role you will ideally have 5+ years of operational risk/compliance advisory experience within the financial services industry, or 5+ years in a product and/or third-party manager role. You will possess Solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations overseeing the banking environment, including the Banking Executive Accountability Regime with proven experience engaging and communicating key deliverables to stakeholders. You will enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and demonstrate an attention to detail to work collaboratively amongst in a team first environment.
