This executive level role leads the Corporate and Governance Division which sits within the Department of Treasury and Finance, and provides oversight of Treasury’s corporate objectives, ensures effective risk management and business continuity, and facilitates high standards of governance and probity. You will also be relied on to provide long term strategic and legal advice to help shape the direction of critical agency processes and projects as well as some whole-of-government matters. The successful applicant will have excellent leadership skills and demonstrated ability to head up a corporate and governance division within a complex and evolving environment in order to inspire future directions; provide high level policy and legal advice; and manage transformation and change in order to optimise organisational outcomes. You will have considerable personal credibility, a high level of professionalism, and a track record of establishing and maintaining effective relationships across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

This is a Senior Executive position for up to five years with an annual salary range of between $158 989 and $174 887, plus 9.5% superannuation and provision of a fully maintained vehicle. Reasonable relocation expenses incurred in taking up this position will be reimbursed.

Highly Desirable Requirements

Completion of relevant tertiary or industry qualifications, and/or professional affiliation.
