How will I help?

You will provide support to the Business Lending LOB Project Remediation & Regulatory Uplift governance forums, including Risk Deep Dive forums and support the efficient management of Customer Remediation activities within LOB.

You will lead the publishing of monthly reporting packs for key Business Lending LOB forums, undertake project performance analysis to identify issues and opportunities relating to the delivery of projects within the BL LOB.

You will support defining and publishing key project metrics across the Business Lending LOB and undertake a QA review of the key risks and issues for all related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the secretarial function for BL LOB key project meetings.
  • Support the review of all approval / endorsement / noting papers lodged at Committees prior to circulation to Committee members.
  • Maintain the forward agenda for Committees and monitor resolution of Committees action items.
  • Prepare Customer Remediation Dashboards (in conjunction with Finance, Projects and Risk).
  • Support fulfillment of information requests from the BL Executive team, Group Remediation Hub.
  • Assist the monitoring of LOB project activities to ensure on-going compliance with Business Remediation Policies and Guidance (e.g. monitoring and maintaining the Business Remediation program Risk and Control Matrix and underlying checklists).
  • Monitor the quality of Customer Remediation object updating and completion in JUNO.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract initially and is available as full-time or part-time (3 or 4 days per week) for the right candidate. This role is ideally to be based in Sydney but can be done remotely, so we are encouraging candidates across Australia to apply!

What do I need?
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in project management.
  • 3-5 years of specific business / operations experience in a relevant area of the same or another financial services organisation.
  • Experience in projects in a relevant area of the same or another financial services organisation (experience in a program management office would be particularly valued).
  • Proficient knowledge of extracting data from data warehouse or underlying systems.
  • Experience in translating the complex into the simple and communicating with passion.
  • Relevant industry qualifications (project, risk, compliance or business-related).
  • Product knowledge of Mortgages, Deposits and Business Loans is advantageous.
