About the Role

St Gregory’s is seeking a creative, energetic and committed Defence Transition Mentor to join our inclusive School community.

Essential Criteria

Sound communication skills both oral and written, and the ability to communicate effectively with primary school age children, school principal and staff, parents, Defence members and their families.
Ability to organise own work, set priorities, meet deadlines, work independently and as a team member, and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to plan, organise, evaluate and deliver activities and resources relating to the needs of ADF Families.
Ability to acquire quickly an understanding of the operations of the school.
Skills in advocacy and negotiations including problem solving and conflict resolution.
Must hold a relevant Working with Children registration and Current Driver’s Licence.
A Certificate IV in Education Support (or equivalent qualification) is recommended.
