RSL LifeCare provides a wide range of services across home care, retirement living, transitional and residential aged care to over 6000 residents and employs 3000 staff across metropolitan, regional and remote sites in NSW & ACT and over $1.5 billion in assets. Your new role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (CEO and Directors) and working collaboratively with the senior operational and functional leaders on all aspects of quality clinical governance and clinical care improvement. This position leads and supports a team of professionals to successfully implement the organisation's Strategic Quality Framework and Clinical Governance Framework throughout the organisation in-line with best practice principles and relevant sector developments. You will contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic and business plans, KPI's and targets that support the achievement of the organisation's vision and purpose. You will also ensure the safe, evidenced-based outcomes in the standard of resident and client care across the range of functional operations areas. Further responsibilities will include ensuring that all aspects of care and services provided by RSL Lifecare are provided in line with relevant legislation, quality standards and emerging requirements from the 2019 Royal Commission.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with strategic vision and a passion for business and service improvement in complex stakeholder environments with high level competencies in the provision of nursing, resident and community care services. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the health and aged care sectors, relevant agencies funding and policy protocols, accreditation and workplace relations legislation will be highly regarded.

Applicants will be required to have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as nursing or other health discipline and a Post Graduate Qualifications in quality management and/or clinical governance, or commensurate credentials. A high-level management competence in care leadership, service development and operational management and prior experience working in a senior leadership team and implementing large scale capital projects in a complex environment is also necessary. An understanding of Veteran experience would be highly desirable.
