JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Federal Government Leader, you will build and lead a significant portfolio of digital transformation business in the Federal Government sector. You will be a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing a strategy to help grow our business. You will cultivate and hold trusted relationships with senior executives. You will build a local team in Canberra of multi-disciplinary capabilities that deliver exceptional work and better outcomes for our client’s business and the needs of the digitally savvy, discerning citizen.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth

The Federal Government Leader role is primarily about growth. You are passionate about growing a business; you see growth as the lifeblood of a healthy business that drives personal development, client impact and financial performance. You leverage your existing relationship networks to identify new opportunities to grow our business. You will lead complex multi- disciplinary pitches for tier one clients, bringing strategic thinking, industry knowledge and strong teamwork and collaboration skills. You will also help grow our existing client relationships, delivering greater impact for them.

Client stewardship

You have very strong client relationship skills; a proven track record of building strong personal and professional relationships with senior executives in Federal Government. Your relationships are based on your ability to deliver impactful results and provide an independent perspective to senior executives on the trends impacting their business, making you a trusted advisor.

Leadership

You know how to rally, inspire and coach highly talented team members with big ambitions and aspirations. You are optimistic and a source of positive energy for those around you. 

You are comfortable working with creatives, technologists, strategists; you have a genuine appreciation for creativity and an interest in technology and its impact on humankind. You display intellectual curiosity and openness to learn about new industries, new fields, new disciplines and are excited by change and learning.



Qualifications

  • 12 years minimum experience in digital and large scale technology reform. You are likely to have a background in consulting, digital or transformational leadership.
  • 3 years minimum experience in growing and leading a significant and profitable portfolio of business in the Federal Government sector.
  • Strong Federal Government relationships, knowledge and insights
  • Exceptional business development skills with a proven record of lead generation and direct sales
  • You are able to convert and deliver large scale reform programs
  • Experience in bringing together teams with multiple discipline representation (especially technology, creative, and strategy)
  • Strong people management skills
  • Appropriate clearances and deep understanding of panels and procurement arrangements
